”Wall of Love” for WMU

Starting February 5th, WMU will be selling “hearts” in memory of or honor of a loved one. February is WMU month with WMU Focus Week February 12 – 19th.

Each heart will be displayed on our “Wall of Love” and all money collected will be given to the Heck-Jones Offering. Let’s do our best to show our “love” for WMU.

WOM (Women on Missions)
:

These groups meet once a month to worship together in fellowship & Bible Study & all ladies of the church are invited to attend. Come out and enjoy an hour with Christian women intent on missions and Gods word for living a spiritual life.

How do preschoolers learn about missions in Mission Friends?
• Hands-on activities • Sensory activities • Bible thoughts
• Cultural learning activities • Mission stories • Prayer
• Giving • Helping others

Do you have a child between the ages of 3 years and Kindergarten? If so, consider bringing them to Mission Friends on Wednesday nights and see just how much they can learn about missions.

  • Seven year olds teach Missions Volunteers how to Prayerwalk in Texas
  • 12 year old brothers from Austin, Texas hand out free Bibles to Chinese tourists during a mission trip to Southeast Asia
  • An Indian Reservation in Fort Totten, ND was transformed by a group starting. It began with 8 girls, five of whom have been baptized and follow Jesus. One girl lead her mother to Christ just by seeing her daughter’s example.

These are just your ordinary 1st through 5th graders living an ordinary life. Imagine what your child could learn and the examples they could show others of Christ love.

Encourage anyone you know with girls ages 1st grade – 5th grade to bring their children to GA’s on Wednesday. You just may be encouraging the next missionary!
