PrayerActing Prayer Coordinators: Brent Wooten and Jeff Collins Oakdale Baptist Church offers its members opportunities to be involved in the Prayer Ministry. Currently there are two active areas for prayer. They are as follows: Members of Oakdale Baptist Church sign a commitment sheet and agree to pray for the pastors for one week. A prayer request postcard is mailed out to these volunteers on a weekly basis, thus our pastors are covered in prayer daily throughout the year. Members of Oakdale Baptist Church sign a commitment sheet and agree to pray for the prayer requests listed each week in the church bulletin. With a chosen prayer partner, these intercessors pray daily or weekly as they agree, for the OBC prayer requests. Throughout the church year, there will be special events for the prayer partners; Prayer Walking for our schools, Prayer Conferences, National Day of Prayer, Ladies Prayer Brunch and others, as God leads. We want to continue to hold our pastors and their families up before God every day. As prayer coordinators, we will continue to have teams praying for our pastors. We ask each one of you to lift YOUR voices up to the one Holy God and ask for his intervention on us as a people of this great Nation, so we will see the need to return to His way and his principals. This is a nation that has been founded on Christian principals and there has never been a time in our history when Christian people needed to be strong and heard. Please pray-communicate with God daily. Your life will take on a different meaning!
