Larry Purcell has served as a senior pastor for 30 years. He was educated at Mid-Continent University with a B.A., and B.R.E. in Bible and Theology; Liberty University with M.A. in Religion and Counseling; and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with PhD in Leadership.  Dr. Purcell serves as Associate Professor and Associate Dean of Ministry Studies at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has written numerous articles for magazines and newspapers.  He published with Broadman and Holman Management Essentials for Ministry, Recruiting and Enlisting Volunteers.  Published in the Christian Education Journal, Ejournal, and written Sunday school materials for LifeWay Christian Resources. He has led numerous seminars and coached/consulted with churches about leadership, change & conflict issues, parenting, addiction, and led various retreats.
