College

We have all been in transit at one time or another in our lives, "traveling" to an important "destination" in our life, while making necessary stops along the way.  A Christian is always "in transit" to the ultimate goal -a glorious eternity that will be spent with Jesus Christ.  As a Christian is in transit to this life eternal, there are stops along the way that should be used to grow closer to Christ and search for His will in his/her life here on earth.

There is probably no other time in life where we are "in transit" more than during young adulthood---starting during the late teen years and going through to the mid-to-late twenties.  Are you currently in this great "in transit" time?  You may be preparing for or currently going through a journey of higher education--waiting to declare a major, or trying to figure out how long it is going to take to get that diploma.  You may be starting a life in the workplace, waiting for your career to take off.  Or you may be in the process of one of the many other "big waits" we may have during our young adult life....residency, marriage or starting a family.  If any of this sounds familiar, the In Transit Sunday School Class may be the right fit for you. 

This class offers time spent together in prayer, in God's Word and in lots of discussion with people who may have been where you are at now, or may currently be going through your same situation.  This is not a "teach to" class, but rather a "learn together" class.  Some traditional Sunday School learning material that is geared toward Young Adults will be used.  There will also be non-traditional material used such as some independent bible studies.  The goal is to grow closer to Jesus, and seek  His will for our lives.  We want to create bonds as Christian brothers and sisters that are in place not only during our Sunday School class, but extend into our every day lives.  If you feel led, please come and join us as we are "in transit" together!
